Mouthguards

If you play a high-impact sport, you will know the value of having a mouthguard to protect your valuable teeth. At House of Dental, in Hove, we can custom-make a guard for use during sport – or if you are susceptible to night-time teeth-grinding.

Benefits of mouthguards

The impact from a flying hockey ball, or a misplaced elbow can cause serious damage to your teeth or the bones of your jaw. It is not worth taking the risk of playing without a mouthguard. A professionally made guard, tailored exactly to your mouth, will offer the best protection.

Those who clench or grind their teeth (bruxism) as they sleep can also benefit from a bespoke mouthguard that will provide a barrier between your upper and lower teeth and prevent unnecessary damage while the cause of the bruxism is investigated.
